Who is this service for?
Skating Solutions seminars are for anyone, and everybody, of every age, discipline and level. We have experience and elite level coaches for any group including: freestyle, dance, pairs, power skaters and synchronized skating teams.
What are the costs involved in hosting a seminar?
Costs in hosting a seminar include some of the following: ice time, travel of coaches, accomodation, meals, instructors' time, scheduling and maybe off-ice facilities if necessary.
Skating Solutions is resposible for arranging the travel, accomodation, meal per diem, and instructor's fees. The host organization will be invoiced for the costs at one time only. Booking ice and off-ice facilities falls on the shoulders of the organizing committee.
Most of these costs vary depending on location, due to travel and accomodation differences. Instuctor fees are set and can be disclosed upon contact and booking.
When could a seminar happen?
Seminars can happen any time during the year, bearing in mind that availability of instructors is limited during the competitive season.
What are the responsibilities of each party?
Skating Solutions
- Providing instruction and expertise
- Supply of schedule and standard application forms
- Arranging all transportation, accomodation, and meals for instructors.
- Ongoing consultation
- Confirmation of Instructors
Host Committee
- Booking ice time for seminar time
- Booking instuctors
- Advertising, distribution of applications and registration for seminar.
- Re-embursing Skating Solutions for costs incurred.
Can I request certain coaches from the instructors list?
Yes, but actually booking them will depend upon the availability of the instructor.
How far ahead should a seminar be booked?
The earlier the better. Not only for coach availability, but in most cases, travel costs are cheaper when booked early.
Is there any obligation to Skating Solutions if I request a quote?
No, price quotes are welcomed and free of charge or obligtion.
